Frequently asked questions
The questions our investors ask most often, by topic.
Getting started
What is Coin District?
Coin District is the marketplace for private companies. You can invest in unlisted companies when they raise funds on the Launchpad, then buy and sell their tokens directly with other verified investors on the secondary market.
What is the minimum investment?
The standard minimum ticket on the Launchpad is €250; some projects set a higher one, shown on their page (for example €500 for Hymersion). Tokenized funds have their own minimum entry, from €1,000. On the secondary market, you can buy fractions of a token.
Account & verification
How long does identity verification take?
Most verifications are completed within a few minutes. If a manual review is needed, it can take up to 48 hours. You’ll find your status in your profile.
Why do I need to complete the investor qualification?
Regulations require us to check that you understand the risks of private company investments. The questionnaire takes about 5 minutes and you can save a draft and resume later.
Investing & payments
What are the fees?
A platform fee, set for each offering and shown at checkout, applies to primary subscriptions (Launchpad projects and tokenized funds), and a 0.2% trading fee to secondary-market trades, paid by the buyer and the seller each. Account opening and custody are free; tokenized funds also carry their own annual management fee, shown on each fund page. Fees are always shown before you confirm. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Where can I find my payment receipts?
Every payment has a receipt in your account activity. You can print it or save it as a PDF — see an example receipt.
Secondary market
How do I sell my tokens?
From your dashboard, choose “Sell” next to a token, set your quantity and price, and publish your listing. A sale depends on a buyer being available; it is never guaranteed.
How does the peer-to-peer secondary market work?
There is no exchange and no market maker: investors list their own tokens for sale, at the quantity and price they choose. You buy directly from one of these offers, up to the quantity it contains, so the supply of each asset is limited to what holders have listed. You can also make a counter-offer at another price: the amount is reserved in your wallet until the seller accepts, declines or replies with a new price. To sell, you publish your own offer; it stays open until another investor buys it, or until you withdraw it. Track your purchases and offers in order history.
Lending & yield
What is the health factor?
It measures the safety of your loan compared with your collateral. Above 1, your position is safe; below 1, part of your collateral can be liquidated. We recommend keeping it above 1.5.
Do my project tokens earn interest?
No. Only currencies such as USDC or ETH earn interest. Project tokens can be deposited only as collateral to borrow euros, up to 50% of their value (50% LTV). You remain the owner: distributions and voting rights stay yours.
When is lending interest paid?
Interest accrues continuously and is credited to your account on the first day of each month. Rates are variable and not guaranteed.
CDNT & rewards
How do I earn CDNT?
Complete Academy modules (10 CDNT per correct answer), invite investors with the referral program, and take part in the CDNT airdrop.
What can I do with CDNT?
CDNT gives you voting power in governance and can pay part of a Launchpad, fund or syndicate investment at the fixed platform rate of 1 CDNT = €0.10 (not secondary market purchases, which are paid in euros or stablecoins). It has no guaranteed market value — see the airdrop terms.
